About

Experience

I have over 20 years experience as a consultant, facilitator, and coach, with expertise in leadership and management development, and talent management. As well as running my own business, I am an associate for Henley Business School, Roffey Park Institute, and the Institute for Employment Studies.

Before establishing my business in 2018 I worked in private and charitable sectors, including various Learning & Organisational Development roles at PwC UK, Head of Learning & Development at Allens LLP (an international law firm headquartered in Australia), Head of Learning & Development  at Cancer Research UK, and Development Consultant at Roffey Park Institute, with a variety of private and public sector clients.

Qualifications

I completed my MSc from UCL in Organisational Psychology in 2015, with a focus on psychological wellbeing and resilience in the workplace.

I gained my Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching from University of Sussex in 2018, and have experience of executive coaching in a wide range of situations.

I’m accredited by the Association for Coaching as a Foundation Executive Coach and I’m also qualified to use MBTI, FIRO-B, Hogan, Dimensions, and StrengthScope psychometric tools.

Approach

My approach to all my work is collaborative, pragmatic, and supportive with challenge when needed, backed up by well researched theory. Common development themes include improving management and leadership skills; dealing with challenging working relationships; being more strategic; leading teams through change; enabling performance; improving work-life balance.

My work is underpinned by my beliefs that everyone has the potential to develop, and bring the best of themselves to work; that everyone benefits from time and space to reflect, either with peers or a coach who can bring a different perspective and some challenge to patterns; and everyone needs to feel supported and encouraged in a way that sadly is often lacking at work.
